We provide a streamlined selection process so more value goes into your home rather than administration costs, creating huge savings that we pass to you.

The Onyx display home is the best place to start your working relationship with Exhibit Design + Construction. Our display home showcases the quality and style of our projects. Immerse yourself in the home as you explore the features, inclusions and lifestyle possibilities that will become part of your own home one day.
Take this opportunity to discuss your budget, needs and aspirations one-on-one with our sales team. They will ask you about your land requirements, whether you already have land or need a house & land package. They can also show you our extensive set design options and custom designs, depending on your requirements.
Generally, at this stage our experienced sales team can provide details and pricing of the floor plans, façade, levels of inclusions and more.
BRING YOUR DESIGN TO LIFE
An initial deposit is required, as shown below:
$500 New Site
$1,000 House + Land package
$2,000 Knock Down Rebuild
You will meet with the design team to make decisions about the design, modifications and inclusions. It is now time to request a fixed price tender for the construction of your new home. The tender letter will itemise each component of the house and site as well as any special conditions that may be applicable.
At this stage, the architectural plans will be done. This will include a detailed site plan, floor plan and 3d elevation perspectives.
From here, we will make final amendments to the plans if required and proceed to prepare all the relevant contract documentation.
CONTRACTS AND EXCHANGE
We will provide you with a Master Builders Association (MBA) building contract to review and sign. Generally, you will exchange on 10% building contract and if applicable, 10% land contract.
APPROVALS
You are so close to starting on site.
At this point we will have commenced design (DA) and building (BA) approvals, ordered contour surveys, energy ratings, engineering, prepared and lodged the architectural plans with the private certifier and procured lead-time items (windows, frames etc).
This is the perfect opportunity to make various design decisions around your home while waiting for approvals.
COLOUR SELECTIONS
Colour selection is one of the most exciting steps for our clients. You will have the opportunity to make design decisions for interior and exterior parts of the home. Our suppliers will work alongside you to choose the final products, colours and finishes for the various new products being installed. Your pre‑construction manager will contact you to book selection meetings and more.
CONSTRUCTION AND HANDOVER
Once the land has been titled or cleared, it’s time for Exhibit Design & Construction site team to take the lead.
At this stage, we ensure that construction is in accordance with the approved plans, selections and quality controls. See the construction timeline on the next page for a detailed breakdown on the various stages of construction.
