Turbayne Residence was a specifically designed to suit the requirements of its occupant. The open plan layout lends a helping hand in guiding its elderly occupier with ease.
The house was designed to comply adaptable living codes & AS 1428.1 Design for Access and Mobility.
This house is based on Gold inclusions with Platinum + Custom upgrades. We chose hydronic heating as the primary source of heating through the house, this paired with the skylights has reduced the heating costs by upto 30% by providing sunlight further opportunity to penetrate further into the centre of the home.
The waffle pod slab system adds an additional R1.3 to the floor system rating and retains the solar & hydronic gain much more efficiently. The kitchen has an immense amount storage and additional storage has been designed throughout the house and garage which can be also used to park trailers, bikes etc. The landscaping was specifically designed to provide maximum impact while reducing maintenance, the rear yard landscaping incorporates an organic vegetable patch that just like the living areas of the house captures east, north and west sunlight.
